PTFE material (polytetrafluoroethylene commonly referred to as Teflon) is a highly dense material, semi crystalline in nature, renowned for its outstanding chemical resistance, ability to withstand low and high temperatures ranging from -200°C to +260°C (and up to 300°C for short periods of service), resistance to weathering, low friction characteristics, excellent electrical and thermal insulation, and non-stick surface.

PTFE is available in both natural form and filled grades, including glass-filled, bronze-filled, graphite-filled, and carbon-filled grades, offering enhanced properties for specific applications.

Typical product applications for PTFE include bearings, bushings, rollers, solid gaskets, 'O' rings, bellows, seals, plugs, washers, tank liners, feed heads, and flanges.

HPM – PET is a widely utilised engineering plastic with relatively high density that shares its popularity with materials such as POM-C and MC-Nylon. The grade offered is semi-crystalline in nature and displays remarkable mechanical properties making it highly suitable for precision mechanical parts. Cast Polyamide 6 (Cast Nylon 6 or PA 6) is one of the most versatile thermoplastics. Cast Nylon is a polymer characterised by its high molecular weight and its highly crystalline nature. With its unparalleled toughness, wear resistance, tensile strength, and lubricity, Nylon perfectly caters to the rigorous demands of modern engineers.

Furthermore, cast polyamide 6 stands out as an excellent alternative to metal, boasting fatigue resistance, noise reduction, corrosion resistance, and lightweight properties. PA 6 is a low maintenance material when compared with other metals such as iron, aluminium, brass and bronze.

This grade has a vibrant yellow colour and is the recommended choice for high impact load applications, particularly in industries such as steel rolling mills where slipper and wobbler pads are utilised.
